As you can see from the previous post we were hoping to be moved into our new building by 2025. However planning in Oxford takes longer than anticipated! The building has been stripped back to the bare bones, final plans have been drawn up and submitted. We have been able to secure funding to make the building a higher spec than originally anticipated which is very exciting. However this does mean a delay in moving in to the new site.
Our new timeline now looks at summer 2026 to move in. It can take 3 months after the building has been finished for Ofsted to visit and declare the building fit for purpose so we have had to build that into our estimate of a moving in date.
The Oxfordshire Early Years Team have been involved from the very start of this process and we are confident that the new building will deliver a wonderful space for children to learn, thrive and grow.
