During the World Cup football fever hit St Thomas’. A huge Teddy bear in an England football shirt joined the children as they celebrated the different teams in the World Cup. The children and adults dressed up in their favourite team colours as they made flags, cakes and games with a football theme. The children looked at maps to see where the different teams came from and added holiday postcards too from the different countries they had travelled to on their holidays.
Table football with straws was a brilliant game with the children learning to blow a ball across the table as well as real football in the garden.
